I seem to have… er  lost my camera, for good… And seeing that it was cheap one anyway… its time for a new one.

However with no new photos to post I am experimenting with making some  simple  flash games.
This is the first experiment made with  Mandomartis and it is really simple.
I hope to make more creative ones soon!

I was disappointed  to hear that a local privately own business was shutting down, soon. the gas station and mini market I frequent on my way to work… another casualty of the economy.

I decided to  stop in at Long’s Park, this frozen Saturday. Longs park is not really suited for hiking,  and it was Freezing anyway, So I just snapped a few pictures.

The Eastern Gray Squirrels are everywhere in Lancaster. and pretty much everywhere in the North East U.S.  the are about a foot long, extremely clever. They can break into any well defended bird feeder.
They often very tame around people, putting on dances to try to win food from us.
They can also be very nasty, I have seen them  chase away alley cats . I have even seen one fight off the attack of a red Tail hawk.

The great thing about amateur  photography is that it is a relatively cheap hobby. So are outdoor hobbies such as walking in the park.
We may need to enjoy are cheap hobbies to escape the present economy. AS for me, well I spent an hour or two with the squirrels in the park!

As spring calls out to me to enjoy the great outdoors…my computer keeps trying to call me back with goodies:
* Wordpress released its wordpress 2.55 package and a new dashboard design for the free wordpress.com

* Openoffice.org the opensource equivalent Microsofts office just released Openoffice 2.4

* Avant Browser, a lite speed cruisin browser just released its new build.

* Modzilla is planning to release Firefox version 3.o on wedseday,outside of Beta.

So many new toys!… Its a conspiracy to keep me away from my fly fishing rod and hiking boots… oh my computer it is such a horrible enabler to my internet addiction.
